Congratulations on your success so far! Don't worry too much that it's coming off slowly. You're obviously doing something right! icon_biggrin.gif

Congrats, good work on the weight loss, I know how you feel, took me a year and 5 months to go from 325 to 250 now. Had to change up the food quite a bit and try new workouts. At my gym, Anytime Fitness, we just finished an 11 week Get Fit / Boot Camp, was amazing, showed me new ways to work out. Perhaps trying something like that.

Your body has several mechanisms that kick in to keep you from starving to death. You plateaued. I worried about it until I watched an entire season of "Biggest Loser".

After 270->245lbs, a trainer strongly encouraged me to stop running for speed and start running 3.1 miles on the treadmill at a steep incline. I looked bad at first, but I persevered and did more leg-building exercises. I'm up to 4mph at max incline for an hour.

I could have started doing that a couple of years earlier. I'm at 213 today with another 20+ lbs loss to look forward to.

Congrats on the weight loss!! There is so much to celebrate (with a sparkling glass of water and lemon & lime).

If you plateau - just go with it. Eventually your body will respond to exercise and healthy eating and you'll lose more weight.

    GRATZ to you!!

congrats... Check out coconut oil as weight reducer to the next level.. by becoming a fat-burner instead of a carb-burner. Coconut oil can make you feel really full. It also lower the bad cholesterol. Here is the study (coconut are mostly medium chain triglyceride):
