    Looking for a personal trainer, in my area(61462). Does anyone know of a good way to go about finding one? nnot much luck with google. thanks

    Did you try a local gym? If not one of their trainers, they may know someone.

    Find the nearest CrossFit gym and go to it. Workouts will be hard but the results will be well worth it.

    perhaps contact the organizations that certify PTs and see if they can identify some in your area.

    i can tell you this much, stay away from the Trainer you just got his Certificate on line. Stay away from the Trainer who talks and texts too much while you train. Stay away from the Trainer if you look in better shape than he does. Stay away from the Trainer who kills the clock for the hour.
