i don't know or care what the republicans are doing on this but Democrats should be campaigning to overthrow this POS legislation

the "affordable care act" is a trainwreck bill written by lobbyists from the insurance companies. it mandates universal coverage without regulating costs at all, and lets your pvt insurance determine how much your life is worth. yeah, your insurance co. is your death panel, not the gov't.

The ONLY reason Obama spent the first 2 yrs of his presidency on healthcare is because that's the deal he had to cut with the devil (billary) to get them to step aside and let him have the nomination.

Bill's shrewd enuff to know that forcing Obama to do healthcare would tank his presidency, thus assuring Bill's legacy and preparing the stage for Hillary in '16. Obama was never on board to do healthcare so he just phoned it in to satisfy his "contract" with the Clintons, hence we get this half-assed lump of economic kryptonite instead of anything transformative.

I disagree with your statement, I believe he focused on it the most was because it was sapping our economy out of billions of dollars each year. Plus he knew his only chance was when democrats controlled both houses.

As for the republicans, they know that if the supreme court mandates the law to be unconstitutional that they will have the ball on their court. They will be tasked to give a plan that fixes medicare and medicaid.

They know that people will be furious if they suddenly lose insurance eligibility after having had the opportunity under obama's plans. Which will cost them the votes this November.
