I hate going to the beach for mainly two reasons: 1) I hate baking under the sun; 2) I'm very self-conscious about being shirtless. So, I'm not too concern about my "summer swim wear".

I'm so glad I'm working out! Wash board abs for the beach! But first, for my RJ buds! icon_biggrin.gificon_cool.gificon_wink.gif

I have a canoeing trip tomorrow - which is a school trip - so I guess I need to invest in some new swim trunks considering the ones I bought last year are way too big now.

    I am open to suggestions.

I prefer to be nude, but I do like my AussieBums.

Aussiebum swimwear definitely the best. Speedo style of course!

I'm happy with most of the "booty shorts" on here :p

I do boardshorts. I think they look a lot more right than speedos do.

Summer swim wear is not needed here-it`s never warm enough to go to the beach.

shorter style board shorts are the way to go....aussiebum, park and ronen, even Hurley making shorter ones

those speedos and square cuts just hold no appeal to me and most guys fail to have the bodies to really look good in them, just because you are thin with abs that does not mean you look good in a tiny suit when your legs are like twigs

Agreed! I got two pairs for my recent holidays: only problem is they don't have any 'inners' so had to wear them with a pair of Speedos to stop everything falling out when I was lazing by the pool

GQ, are you sure you weren't thwarting the intentions of the suit designers?
