Rihanna needs to stop. She's so over played. She's well on her way to becoming the next Beyonce...

And she's my #1 reason for not listening to the radio.

Sean i'm on your side with this one, but she will never be the Queen Bee lol ... rihanna can't sing, she can't dance, she doesn't write songs ... she does as her producers tells her and it just so happens the public likes her..sadly. I like the songs nonetheless but she hasn't contributed fuck all to them.

Beyonce on the other hand has a history man, she was in the best selling female group of all times..she does her part in everything..she doesnt just wait for the lyrics to be put in her hand.

"Viva La Vida" from Coldplay is about the current hit song that I listen to regularly. Nothing going up the Billboard pop charts these days is capturing my attention. Not as good as the summer of 2007 or 2006.

Most B52's stuff for some reason seems like a summer pool party or something.

But I will also go retro here and say summertime (Janis Joplin cover)

    Sing it Pearl!

    That's quite alright.icon_lol.gif

I have that CD and I consider it to be from the time which she rose to her current fame. It's not over played anymore either..

That remind me to dust that CD off to listen to on my way to work.

I'm glad Daft Punk seems to be getting a lot of radio play these days. It's alot of mixes but its nice. I heard this Around the world vs. Television rules the nation edit on the radio. Pretty freakin sweat.

Well, right now I can't stop playing "Music Is My Hot, Hot Sex" by CSS - funny, I didn't even like it in those Ipod commercials but it TOTALLY got stuck in my head.

And "Animals" from Nickelback. I heard it at the gym and bought it the second I got home.

Usually a wear a song out for a week or two then I'm onto something else.

Thanks for mentioning the Beach Boys. Reminded me that I took a lot of the summer specific music off my Ipod back in January and never put it back on. Gonna work on that today.
