Young body and old face? Or old body and young face?*

Assuming that these are your only options:

    1) Which are you more attracted to?
    2) Which would you rather be?

*Inspired by gym folk who you can't tell are 60 or 40. (Sometimes when I'm bored between sets I play "The 60/40 Game," asking myself "Are they 60 or are they 40?" when other gym members' bodies look 40 and their faces 60, or vice versa.)

    Young face old body.

Older guys can put on way more muscle than youngings.

But personally, I would prefer an older face with an older body. Young guys just dont do anything for me (in case anyone didnt know that yet)

I play a related game. In the weight room I check out the eye candy. Then I head upstairs to the cardio area and check out their bald spots.

You mean the crazy person that's been sitting on the bench playing with his iPhone on RJ for the past 2.5 hrs since he got there?

    So just so we're clear..

    young body = fit/muscular
    old body = flabby/overweight

    Correct.

I often see fit people where I can't tell if they're old or their faces are sun damaged and/or gaunt. For 60 they look great. For 40 they look terrible.

In that case, I'd opt for the fit/muscular body. And just give the guy a jar of moisturizer or something. icon_lol.gif

I hate to admit my ignorance, because sometimes my brain is a little slow on stuf which I accept and embrace, but I don't even really understand your question here actually. But it seems like it might be an interesting one.

your equivalence of young = fit and old=flabby is quite disturbing and completley misguided. So instead of generalizing and giving credit to someone just because they are young.. why dont you just say Fit or Fat?
Hot or Ugly? Head-turner or Vomit inducing?

Wow, I wish I had the energy to do that in between sets. Usuallly I'm huffing and puffing and trying to ignore pain before my next set.

I used to be that way before I realized I was sabotaging my progress by being overly considerate of other members and rushing my sets. Now I take timed 90 second rests between sets. It's what works for me, keeping my heart rate up while allowing sufficient recovery. It's also nearly impossible to keep from looking around or letting your mind wander while recouping for 90 seconds.

Yeah, I don't get the OP's question either. There's no correlation between age and fitness/attractiveness.

Ditto. Dancerjack is a class act and added great insight to many threads on this site.
