Do you have a gay siblings? If so how many?

NOTE: I would be curious to know if anyone can top my friend who has two sisters and all three kids are gay. When he told me this, I said to him, "did you guys happen to live near power lines or something?"

Not that I'm aware of, but the bounty of nieces and nephews tells me "no." I actually think I'd feel weird if any of my siblings turned out to be gay. Like "Seriously? Steal my thunder will you?" Plus, I don't know if my mother could handle the news twice in one lifetime... She's very old...

My sister is lesbian, and I have a gay cousin and a gay uncle. All on my dad's side. So, of my grandparent's nine direct descendants, four are gay. Luckily, my grandparents were great about it!

Gay sister, several gay cousins. Couple of gay uncles, a few gay great aunts back in the day, all dead now. The gay runs strong in my family. I'm guessing one of my nieces is gay too. She reminds me too much of my sister when she was little and asks a lot of nosy gay-related questions.

Wellll I am a twin and my brother is gay too. I came out first when I was just starting high school. He did not come out till 7 years later. My mom and grandmother said they felt bad that I had to deal with coming out alone and my brother was just accepted because they accepted me by then. I felt sorry for my brother. Having to lie and hide yourself for 7 years. Plus even if you like to admit it or not, we all had the feeling of being a reject once we admitted it to ourselves...so I am sure my brothers thoughts were "I don't want to dissapoint them...and they want grandkids" he kept dating girls through high school, but I always knew. I knew he would talk about it when he felt comfortable. He is my best friend and the one person i can tell everything

Were you twins? If that were the case hormones in the womb could explain it.

One direct cousin that I know, that's it. None of us revealed to the rest of the family. Not very open in my culture.

I have brother and sister cousins who are gay. I also have deduced that there were probably several others gay on the same side of the family. I'm certain the explanation lies in the genes as well as their control of the gestation process, particularly in uterine hormonal washes.

I have a lesbian sister. Her identical twin is straight. Kinda throws that whole nature/nurture thing back into question, huh?

My family is lucky to have the complete set: a gay boy, a straight boy, a gay girl and a straight girl!
