Found in the Ikon Gallery, Birmingham, UK on the back of an advertisement for an exhibition:

"Whoever reads this, I think your beautiful" [sic]

    What a wonderful sentiment.

Well it certainly beats some of the sentiments I have come across on RJ the last couple of days where abuse seems to be a favoured way of showing how clever you are (and I thought it usually showed how boorish you were).

We are who we are because of who we all are.

I do not comprehend why there is not more love shown on this site. We are gay after all. We have had to fight to love. Why is it so hard for us to do that?

Isn't it odd that such a simple and obvious message could teach a fundamental truth?.. Thanks for all the contributions. I had hoped that this thread might be a place for a collective affirmation of who we are..... I'm not, alas, seeing much love around any more.

I am now writing this myself on unplanned (and disposable) things such as adverts. I encourage you all to do the same. I hope we are all still susceptible to the intervention of the profound.

I get it TigerTim. It's unsolicited kindness.

If you aren't finding it here on RJ recently, keep paying attention. It's like the weather around here.
I personally try to carry a bit of sunshine in my pocket - the good news is that it's unlimited. If you're ever having trouble looking on the bright side, let me know. I can help.

I like to go to the post office, where no one is ever happy, with a giant smile on my face, and tell everyone in line to have a good day.

Even better though, and this is what I love, is writing on paper currency. Things like, "No matter what anyone says, you are a beautiful person" or "Give this dollar to someone who really needs it" or "Call up someone you know today and tell them you love them, and really mean it".

Just to pass the love around. They've got to be somewhere.
