Does anyone have an app for iPad they recommend for personal finances? I want to manage money with my iPad and my finances are getting complicated. I would love one that will sync with my bank.

My bank does have such an app. Have you checked with yours?

Those apps from banks are fine for managing your accounts. But if you want manage your finances as a whole, try the one from mint.com . I personally haven't used it, but it's gotten good reviews all around. Available for both iOS and Android.

I have HomeBudget. Haven't used it yet so I can't fully comment. Seems robust and useful. If only I were when it came to managing my money.

This is a bit of a tangent, (and maybe everyone knows this already...I'm new to the iPhone, so it was new to me)...

If you put your finances on your iPhone, you'll probably want to install a free app from Apple called "Find my iPhone." If you misplace the phone, you can login to a website and it will show you the phone's location (provided the phone is charged). You can also lock lock the phone remotely, and in an emergency, you can also erase it. (There's no "self-destruct" feature a la James Bond yet).

I read in the paper that the local police department has recovered two stolen cars recently because the owners had their phones or iPads in the car, and the iGadget had "Find my iPhone" on it.
