Really? What about the massive amount of money poured into the state by Democrats and Unions? That somehow is different? Or are you just whining because your side just might not win? I'm just waiting to hear how you logically explain this one.
BTW, wasn't the unions and Democrats who poisoned the election first by busing in union members from outside of the state to protest ?
No, no double standard here, is there?

    Look at the numbers.

Walker pulled in 30 mil (70% from outside WI)(1 mil from Koch Bros)
    Barrett pulled in 4 mil.

    No comparison.

How much money was poured in by unions? How many union members were bused in? Give me some numbers to compare.

The dems aren't pouring the money in because they know their candidate is going to be the loser!!!

Why is Barack Obama not coming out in full support for Barrett? Why has he not campaigned in the state for him? Because the handwriting is already on the wall. You can't support the candidate that's going to lose without looking like a loser yourself.

The election has been bought and paid for. If barrett wins, its because our democracy prevailed over big $$$

And if Walker wins it will be because there are a lot of dumbass Repubs in WI voting for a lousy Governor - and against their own self interest.

This recall election will be a test of the intelligence level of the state of WI.

Are they dumb enough to get snookered by the Walker and the Repubs AGAIN?

    Your point would be ?

First of all, aren't you forgetting that the unions were not supporting Barrett and that may be why he didn't get as much from outside groups.

Let me get this right, it was OK for unions to spend $40 million on the previous Wisconsin recall elections (all except $5 million was raised from outside of Wisconsin) ? But now that conservatives have raised more than the Liberals the elections are somehow poisoned?

    http://campaign2012.washingtonexaminer.com/article/union-cash-flow-cutoff-has-national-implications

So what you are saying is that if the side a agree with does it and wins at it, then it's OK? But, if the other side does it and they win they have somehow done something wrong?

You didn't have a problem last year when unions outside Wisconsin raised more money from outside the state than the conservatives in last years Wisconsin recall elections, but now because the conservatives have raised more money than Barrett, you suddenly have a conscious and it's now wrong? I didn't hear you say last rears Wisconsin recall elections were '"poisoned".

It's the same double standard Liberals like you always try to use. Maybe you should learn the facts about the issues before you speak, because your opinion is not fact!

What im saying is TODAYS election is a referrendum on whether big $$$ can buy an election.

If you want to discuss the merits of the previous election, start a new thread.

Not true, a slight majority of Wisconsinites support Walker over Barrett. The Prosser vs Kloppenburg race was a pretty good indicator of where the state is at in terms of support. Yes it is true that only about 7000 vote separates the state but that's the way it works!

Who really cares, it's just Wisconsin after all. To be honest, I could not find it on a map.

It's one of those cold dull states up in the northern part of the Midwest.
    It's practically in Canada.

    Nobody moves there.
People just move away from it.

We apparently think this is an amazing place to live as we are something like the 3rd most taxed state in the US!

In all honesty though...having traveled the entire US and experienced various climates and landscapes, I really like it here!
