Hemorrhoids at 19 is unusual. As many guys here have said, confirm that diagnosis with a physician.
As for experience, I tend to get hemorrhoid-like symptoms following sickness that causes diarrhea. The raw fecal matter irritates the skin, producing what is basically a case of diaper rash. I'll keep a tube of medicated skin treatment in the bathroom during outbreaks, to apply to toilet paper. When the irritation ceases the anal swelling, which mimics hemorrhoids, will also stop.
There's also the issue of proper hygiene habits. An Army Sergeant who once worked for me also thought he had developed hemorrhoids. The discomfort made it painful for him to sit in his office chair, and he had difficulty with our daily physical exercise periods. He told me the problem when I asked him why his job performance had declined.
I asked if he had a morning bowel movement before or after his shower. He answered it was after his shower. I told him to make his shower the last step, to cleanse that area after his bowel movement. And if he had to use the toilet during the day, to carry a small travel packet of Wet Wipes with him, or a small tube of skin cream.
He did that and his problem cleared right up. At mid-30s he may have had hemorrhoids, and I told him to see a doctor, but the regimen I suggested is helpful whether it's due to hemorrhoids or a topical skin irritation. This method won't cure hemorrhoids themselves, but it can reduce skin irritation in that area that can make the symptoms worse.
