The Bush administration is up to its old tricks again, quietly putting ideology before science and women's health. The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is poised to put in place new barriers to accessing common forms of contraception like birth control pills, emergency contraception and IUDs by labeling them "abortion." These proposed regulations set to be released next week will allow healthcare providers to refuse to provide contraception to women who need it.

If this is true, which, I really don't doubt. It's wrong. I would like to see a link on it though. Sometimes I am a bit embarrassed to be a Republican because of boneheaded things like this.

    Vineyardhmo,
Can you post that NY Times link (eventhough you already put it elsewhere in this thread after the first request for it) in the original box? That way people that scroll through too quickly can find it and you won't be asked for it multiple times.

Ok, so say this comes to pass. Can the next President easily reverse these troglodytic regulations?

That's a lot of bull, the man is concentrating on the defense of the republic, the viagra/birthcontrol issue is meaningless in comparison. The question was pure bullshit. Being on the campaign trail he has to be nice to dumbasses like that reporter.
