BIG CONGRATS to Yourname2000 - He's Won Some Medals in his Craft!!!

    My amazing guy Yourname2000 (aka Dave) has won more recognition of his skill in his trade, namely wine making. Dave is the proid owner and proprietor of The Grape Escape Wineworks (www.tgew.ca) here in Vancouver, located in the Commercial Drive neighbourhood.

    The contest, the 2012 Winemaker International Amateur Wine Competition, was held by Winemaker Magazine and the results were just released today at winemakermag.com/competition. In summary, he did DAMNED AWESOME:

    Gold  - Showcase (CC) - Lodi Old Vine Zinfandel - 2011

    Silver - Showcase (CC) - Red Mtn Cabernet Sauvignon - 2011
    Silver - Cru Select (RJS) - RQ11 Trio do Vinho Tinto - 2011
    Silver - Showcase (CC) - Amarone - 2010
    Silver - Showcase (CC) - Wash Cabernet Shiraz - 2010
    Silver - Winery Series (RJS) - Spanish Tempranillo Cabernet - 2011

    Bronze - Showcase (CC) - Spanish Old Vine Mencia - 2011


    CONGRATS, beautiful man!!!

    Oh my gosh you are like, so totally right. I should put some in my nephew's sippy cup and my elderly grandfather's Boost shake so they can get all their daily fruit nutrients.
