Right Wing ideology trumps common sense again. Let's wait to hear how the conservaplants here spin this, a move that keeps innocent people in prison, let's the guilty remain free to commit more crimes, and ultimately costs Florida more money.

I guess this means people in Florida should start breaking more laws, since the innocent people are the ones who'll be going to jail for it.

This is an idiotic decision. It has little to do with "right wing ideology" though. I would also point out that the author is a fairly prominent libertarian. I should go further and say that from a cost perspective and from a civil liberties perspective, the death penalty should be exceedingly rare if not outright eliminated. Punishment should fit the crime, and a quick humane death is probably too kind over a lifetime of imprisonment anyway.

Just another reason why I'm so glad I don't live in Florida anymore.

Rick Scott proves he is a tea party tool, yet again.

Something stupid happens in the Florida crime and punishment, again.

    I'm shocked, frankly.

It's funny how some right wingers support Stand Your Ground laws but pretend they're really against capital punishment.

IF true, I have a big problem with this. I'm pro life .... both ways and a big supporter of the Innocence Project as I've stated here many many times.
