He seems warm and down to earth.

I've spent a lot of time working for extremely wealthy people and the vast majority of them are cold and arrogant.
Most of them hate to deal with - or even be around - people who aren't as rich as they are.

    Buffett doesn't seem like that.

Buffett knows to invest in others- especially their education to further advance the economy. He's a very smart man.

Although I have to be Mr. Hyde in the aspect that I would love to be awarded a little something something from Mr. Buffett. Maybe a scholarship or a new, greener car.

Warren Buffet may be rich, but he is more down-to-earth than many wanna-bes. What other billionaire eats lunch at a Dairy Queen once a week?

His children were told early on not to expect an inheritance. He wanted them to do the things they wanted to do through hard work. (although they'll have some influence with foundational matters)

"Obama has a willing accomplice in Warren Buffet, who wants to be taxed more, yet is fighting the IRS about $1 billion he currently owes the Treasury."

    http://www.redstatereport.com/2012/05/who-will-vote-for-obama-in-november/

Being a shill for the failed Marxist policies of the worst president of modern times is not charming or down-to-earth.

Nothing stops Buffet (or any other Obama useful idiot) from giving away excess money.

Instead he wants more power and money for Marxists so they can continue destroying freedom and prosperity. That should make patriotic Americans want to barf.

According to the interview on the youtube clip in the article, they all are being taken care of and they all know and have agreed upon it. And the business has been designed to go on forever, according to him. My only concern with that is that the company has so many large companies and is continuously growing, I would be a concerned of someone in the future coming in to rape and pillage the companies they own to maximize profits even more. I hope that he has it designed to prevent that from ever happening.

The lie that Buffet's secretary pays more in income tax is an OBAMA nation. Buffet pays more in Federal Income taxes. Buffet pays only 15% in CAPITAL GAINS TAXES. If u want to pay more, write the check. Don't promote others to pay more when all the gov't does is waste our hard earned money. U socialist, marxist, communist, a failed community organizer, UNAMERICAN, egotistical, over his head, clueless, weak, 5 trillion dollar debt u accumulated, weak economy, scandal driven, bow at the feet of dictators, failed health care bill, wasted $787 billion on a so call shovel ready stimulas bill. The only thing it stimulated is the American people to get ur butt out of office, u so called President. Oh and by the way; I'll kick ur ass in hoops any day!

I wish that we had the ability to all just take a step back and look at ourselves sometimes. I read a study recently that it often times has more to do with fitting in with ones peers (I don't mean just people on RJ) than anything else. So often it comes back to man's basic need for tribalism. That is a big part of what religion is. Even working for some companies can become that way. It is not always the case. There are of course people that have serious psych issues as well. I try to be understanding of that.

In the clip, he mentions that many of his family members have created their own foundations so that they can contribute to what is important to them. He and his family are giving away large amounts now. He also mentions that he is not giving it all away at this moment so that he can continue to grow it, being able to do more good. I think that is admirable. He is good at making more of it.

His move is to blindly and subserviently support the Repub party in the desperate hope that he can help to keep the Bush tax cuts for the rich in place.

jockfever: Obama zombies see themselves competent to question someone else's grip on reality? What a hoot.

Get back to us if it ever sinks in that your Dear Leader is the worst president ever; that he's a fraud who doesn't belong in the White House; that he and his Democrat accomplices inherited a recession and made it worse; and that his stupid Marxist policies have failed, except that they served the screwball Left's agenda to destroy American freedom and prosperity.

Warren Buffet is an icon for wealth creation in the private sector. He's goofy for playing useful idiot for the Dear Leader, the biggest job and wealth destroyer ever to occupy the White House.

Speaking of Kool Aid, nice call on the Wisconsin Recall.

RickRick91: I'm not crying. But you Repubs will be crying when you see the results of the next election.

maybe you should get off your back and stop looking at ceilings, and you may see the truth. I know and have known many republicans who work for and donate to charities; after all many of them also put country before self in the way they vote too; God Bless America.

A particular quote by Benjamin Franklin comes to mind here. It also helps to explain why a lot of rich people are able to be so nice. They have fewer material problems to worry about. I quote:

"It is hard for an empty sack to stand up straight."

I will always remember that dearly.
