I spend more time researching cars than I do looking at guys icon_surprised.gif

However, this guy is very easy on the eyes and knows his stuff. Can't beat Top Gear though.

Dude I love cars! I drive a Mustang droptop everyday. I also have a 68 Fairlane. Anything American I'm into. Old Mercedes and other Euro cars are cool. But no rice burners here!

Top Gear is the best show on television. I love cars and always have. Looking forward to driving a Koenigsegg one day.

I like the direction Audi is taking with the V6T but I feel like they need to bump the power up a little bit.

Their putting it in the '13 S5 finally replacing their decade-old 4.2.

I like old classics more than I like new models. (Pix of mine are on my profile here). My b.f. has a cool little Smart Car and I've driven it - and liked it! It is a blast to drive but a whole lot different than a Rolls Royce (or any other car). I've liked cars all my life. I grew up surrounded by some of the best cars in the world...........couldn't wait to get my license.

First, the US version of Top Gear pales in comparison to the UK version.

Second, I drive a 2012 S5. overall, I love this car, but can only rate it about a 90 out of 100. Its weak points are that it feels heavy, there are alot of rattles especially with the Bang and Olufsen, and the Tiptronic has about 100 different personalities. Using the "manual" mode in the auto is the best way to drive this, but I chose the auto for casual driving as well. When driving in "Comfort" mode, the auto is very sluggish and choppy. In "Dynamic", it's definitely more spirited.

My previous car was a 350Z Roadster with an auto, and the character of that auto a perfect balance in cruising and spirited driving.

My favorite cars of all time that I've had:
    1) 1989 Acura Integra
    2) 2006 350Z Roadster Touring
    3) 1999 Nissan Pathfinder
    4) 2012 Audi S5

Really wasn't expecting any responses for some reason so this is a nice surprise!

I have a Volvo C30 at the moment which I absolutely love, don't think I'll sell that for a while. Saying that I have a soft spot for Mini Coopers (I'm from England so I'd have to haha). I also like mustangs especially the new Boss, some of the videos online of them are orgasmic lmao.

I think that video I put up is what the American Top Gear should be like, he is doing his own thing .. Not much like the UK Top Gear but I don't think it should be, which is why I like it so much.

And I freaking love the Audi's 4.2 V8, to me its what Jaguar should have done with their old 4.2.

I love being behind the wheel. I have a Volvo XC70 which serves all of my needs perfectly. Unfortunately, it was side-swiped while parked on the street a couple weeks ago and I'm saddled with a soul sucking, personality draining 2012 Chevy Impala rental car while the Volvo is in the body shop. It's quite possibly the most bland thing I've ever had the displeasure of driving, and I can't wait to have my wagon back.

I guess I'm a Volvo guy now too, never thought I would be but the 2.5T in my C30 is to die for. I get near 30mpg and it has a great exhaust note, its just the 5 cylinder wine, to me its almost like a gallardo or something (with a bit of imagination anyway lol). The modifications I could do on it are sick, I just don't have the money to do anything yet.
My Dad has a '07 XK with the older N/A 4.2, I think my volvo is quicker, but that engine has the sweetest note of any car I've heard.

Fast cars were more fun when there were less cars on the road. Now there's hardly the chance to open them up anymore. Even for the quick thrill of getting onto the interstate fast, I first have to slow to a crawl, pissing off the guy behind me, just to get some acceleration distance between me and the car in front. And intown driving? ugh! At least it used to be fun to have the hp to get around the suv's. But now whenever gas hikes up towards that $4/gal mark, they gang up on ya, moving in a pack off red lights like their gas pedals are made of fine crystal. 'Every year it just gets more and more stupid. I think my next car's gonna be a Mini. I'm done.

That is definitely the high point for my car. The V8 sounds orgasmic for car enthusiasts, and it catches so much attention from people. Obviously, it's a gas guzzler, but you pay for the get-up-and-go, and this thing goes!

I do have a small level of regret that I didn't test drive the S4 with the V-6T to see how it would be in the 2013 S5. But I still love my car, overall, despite some of its weak points.

I’m a lifelong hardcore gear head and into old and knew. I have three old and one newer, not quite new anymore, but still fun. All of my cars have big V8s and have Pontiac badges on them, which is a magically brand to an old guy like me.

I’ve raced all of my life and ruined two marriages doing so. I did damage though ... my son hates cars because of it, but my grandson is taking to it and actually asked if he could go to Dream Cruise with me in August. My son and daughter in law are not happy.

Now that business has come back quite a bit, I want to go vintage racing. And now that they're running early 60s NASCAR stocker in vintage racing, I'll take this.

Luckiest kid in the world standing in the front of that 63 FE block. Nothing in the entire world sounds like these.

I also found this the other day of a little Aussie vintage racing. This would be fun too

    I've already done this

    I currently drive a 2002 Cadillac Escalade
I just traded in my 2002 chevy trailblazer
And I have a2009 peugeot 207CC which is a blast to drive I wanted to get a 02-03 bmw X5 but I thought that the escalade is a better choice
Being in lebanon that's why I drive somewhat old cars cause even the 01 bmw X5 still costs 16K and the caddy is at 20k
Been around cars since I was a young child

I'm a big time car geek, which I learned as a kid when my dad and I spent weekends in the garage together taking apart cars and putting them back together. I spend much more time on cars than I ever do on men, like 100:1.

My current car is a 2008 BMW 535 with a 6 speed manual.

    ^^^^ thanks for reminding me

I gotta get out there this morning and replace the starter in this:

    IMG_2570.jpg

Did a complete frame replacement nut and bolt restoration 11 years ago, but things do wear out again from time to time. Fuel pump last summer and a starter is needed now. Not bad for a 50 yr old car.

And right above is the complete asshole of an anti Asian racist who called Riddler78 a "zipper head",
    http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=zipperhead
"slits besides the eyes" and many other racists epitaphs for which he got a few days RJ 'vacation'.

Of course one would wonder how on earth Tropical Magaret could be in the USMC for 23 years and only make it to the rank of sergeant, but I think we all have our answer.

Riddler is an ass, plain and simple. Every rank above E5 is a "sergeant" (Staff, Gunnery, Master, First, Master Gunnery.. yep they ALL are Sergeants).. I have a DOD ID card that says otherwise, do you? nope.... sorry but your attempt failed.

    Try something else.
    Your boast stands.

A fully restored car is a bunch of fun, but must be maintained just like it had to be when new and fuel pumps go out, starters have to be replaced, etc., but it’s still well worth it.

And can be a bunch of fun. This is next
