"It has become the single-most rapid seller in the history of Taco Bell. Apparently, running for the border is only made better when there are a taco shells made out of Doritos. Over the first 10 weeks of Doritos Locos Taco sales, over 100,000,000 were sold. One hundred million Doritos Locos Tacos."

Has anybody tried this? I am amazed that 100 million have sold in 10 weeks. icon_eek.gif

Acckkk! Americans will eat anything that's marketed to them. And didn't someone post a thread last week saying how Taco Bell was going "upscale"?

I think the only legit negative comments I've heard about it is that it doesn't have enough Doritos flavor to it.

At one time, I would have been indulging into food like that, but now just looking at it just makes me nauseated.

Yah know, I'm actually interested to try it. I became hooked on Tex-Mex when I lived in San Antonio, TX. But I can't find decent hard-shell tacos here in south Florida. Everybody disses Tex-Mex, but I like it.

Fine, then please provide me the name of a south Florida restaurant that sells hard shell tacos. Otherwise, kindly STFU, fair enough?

That's because no one likes gravy on their tacos.

Eh, I didn't really liked it. Tasted like a regular TB taco to me. It was just tempting to see what the hell this crazy combo would taste like.

[SIGH] Oh, well... I was hoping I could find a source for a hard shell taco in south Florida. Got hooked on them in San Antonio, TX, can't find another place that makes a decent one. icon_sad.gif

In regards to Taco Bell- that's impressive. I never realized so many people want stoner food that gives them bad digestion problems. icon_eek.gif

Wow, forget to take your meds? Or perhaps you've had too much boxed wine. Nobody cares if you get your tacos or not.

Edit: And being born and raised in San Antonio, calling Taco Bell "Tex Mex" would get you stabbed there.

It's usually a mixture of both. If I were you I wouldn't even address it.
