So, i keep hearing that u have to enroll for the " 24 Ultra Super Sport " of 24 fitness.

to actually be able to get in ... meaning ( being a member of super sport doesn't cover that perticular gym )

from the guys i'ved been chatting it up at the gym, seems to me its somewhat of 2 times bigger than super sport , but only located in a few states in this nation... * bummer *

the way they painted the picture of ( Ultra 24 fitness ) seems to me it's somewhat of their version of equinox , or club one...

anyone here able to check this so called ( Ultra 24 fitness ) is it worth the high priced membership ?l.jpg

So is just a gym with a super sized screen tv n more tvs......seems very redundant. I stick with my basic membership.

Its a great gym, but the best part is that because its kind of exclusive, most of the day it is virtually empty and you can get in and out without waiting for anything.

    Other bonuses:

    - restaurant
    - out door pool, jacuzzi, beach volleyball
    - mini-golf
    - executive locker room and laundry service (for many more times the normal fee)
    - they have replaced that defective monitor with Meg Whitman's picture above

    and the clincher:

    - the low self-esteam room

I'm there every morning (well not the esteam room).

This. I'm quite happy with my own regular membership at $69/year for the Sport, and Active clubs anywhere in the system.

There's one in Irvine , CA and it's right next to the freeway. At night you can see the Tv screens over the cardio area. Super high ceilings. I have to admit that it:s ridiculously cool looking. But no way I can justify the price. I:m more than happy with my $20 a year Sport level membership.

$20 a YEAR? $69 a YEAR? It's been a while since I was a member of any health club but I was a member of 24 Hour Fitness when I lived in Hawaii for a while, and I know it cost more than that. How do they make money? I know that they rely on people not cancelling, but almost everyone would have to be paying but never going at those rates.

Well it works like this .. you pay a large lump sum up front. And that's basically a prepaid 3 year membership. After the three years is up, you pay an annual maintenance fee. Forever. So in my case, I paid I think $650 up front with a $20 a year maintenancefee. And I get access to all Express , Fit, and Sport level clubs. So all these people that did the prepaid deals helped seed the money for future clubs .

I'm not sure if they still offer these types of deals, but it doesn't hurt to ask one of the sales reps.

I pay $28 a year for my 24 membership. I have a Sport membership but was grandfathered in to the Super Sport I work out at during the week.
