abelian0 saidMy longest friendship, which is now going on its 22nd year, is with a woman. I really don't understand misogyny, and find it irritating. From gay men no less.
I don't have too many female friends though (acquitances yes, friends no). No real reason behind this, but we tend to not share too many common interests. Of course there are some exceptions. I have a girlfriend with whom I can talk about videogames or music as well, but my interests tend to lean closer to the interests of my male friends. It's a real turn-on when I can talk to women about things like football (soccer) or videogames, but that unfortunaly doesn't happen too much
When I meet up with a gf, I usually let them lead the conversation and just follow with it and show interest in their interests, because most of the time they are not able to do the same with me. At my job I have a lot of female colleagues and we laugh quite a bit as well, but we'd never be friends. And that's fine.
