Im about to turn 36 yrs old in two weeks, It really hit me. Im getting old, are they any fellas out there that experience mid-life crisis about their age? What is the coping mechanism. Im grateful to be alive and well at this age and looking forward to the road ahead. But i also know i will experience this little crisis eventually.

    I started experiencing it when I turned 21. I was all like....whoaaa.
    I'm getting old.

It's like only yesterday I was 10....jeez. I'm serious.. not trying to be a troll.
But I guess you just have to accept that we will not experience eternal youth until Jesus comes back.

At 36, you are more educated, stable, financially independent, and at your physical and sexual prime. Enjoy it!

You've been an adult for 16 years and will continue to be one for the next 50, hopefully. Keep it in perspective.

Embrace the early stages of your muscle daddy transformation. You should start seeing more emails from 20-something years old that want to hook up with you. icon_wink.gif

Would you rather turn 36 or not have the opportunity to 36 at all? Getting older is a much better option than the alternative.

Getting old? You are old. Overheard on the beach in P-Town last summer, from a group of NYC gym queens (and emphasis on the queen part, not the gym part), while they were acquiring skin cancer, between heavy discussions about drinks and clothes: "Gee, Robert, do you realize you are the only one here who was born in the 70's? Hey guys, Robert is over 30."

Sorry, but 36 is not old. I know people who are 79, 80, 95 and 100. The 95 year old fellow just gave up going out to dance weekly, not because of his condition but because he doesn't want to drive at night.

It's all in how you approach it.
