After buying Minutes to Midnight on release day (thanks to iTunes pre-order) I doubt I'll rush out and get Living Things.

"Valentines Day" was so painfully emo I expected my iPhone to grow black bangs.

As if "Given Up" on that album wasnt foreshadowing...

It might have a single here or there (Burn it Up is just 'more of the same' from them... ), but I highly doubt I'll shell out the 12 bucks iTunes is asking for it.

They promised to go back to what made them famous. Burn It Down is an excellent single to start off with, but the last two albums make me hesitant to trust them entirely. Needless to say, I will download it and then possibly make the purchase if the album meets my standards of replay-ability.

A THOUSAND SUNS was an interesting album. They did a lot of expermenting which kind of confused some of their fans.

I've still enjoyed a few songs off that album.

    I really liked:

Wretches and Kings was an amazing song.
And it has my favorite speech of all-time in it.

I've heard snippets of the new one... I'm anticipating better.

Why... I had no idea things, people, music, anything could evolve.
Such a strange concept that people can still be interested years later.

its been years since they were last relevant, so the mere notion that they still have fans let alone people still interested in them is shocking.

I have followed them since 2004 , listened to all of their albums and EP.
Still love LP but their new genre of music, I dont find any interest more.
Meteora and Hybrid Theory are great , Minutes To Midnight is my most favorite.
But A Thousand Suns , I only love Waiting For The End and Blackout , the rest of that album I dont like much.

And the recent new single Burn It Down.... icon_rolleyes.gif
Im sorry , it bothers me.
however , I will buy their new album and try it ;)

    TrevorMark,
Just ignore breatheonme; he's got a bad attitude. I told him he was playing the 6-letter word game wrong, and his response to tell me to kill myself.
Thanks for your comments in the songs, btw.
