Interesting article if you shop at Urban Outfitters.http://www.alternet.org/culture/155818?page=1
Defenseon saidI still will shop there. I'm sure a lot of liberal corporate stores are ran by right wingers. Since, of course, that's all right wing people do.The fact that you're willing to support a store that's blatantly racist and bigoted speaks volumes.
That aside. I still like their clothes, they are quite comfy there cotton shirts and tanks. Clearance section is a must, fricken shirts for $5! It's great!
7Famark saidNah, it won't....love their v-necks.
Maybe I'll go to Chik-fil-a after I buy some.

ya can you pick up some condoms for all the homosexuality I will commit tonight... oh and then some bath salts to scrub all that sin away tomorrow. Thx.
mocktwinkie saidI've shopped at Urban Outfitters before and if anything this article just makes me want to buy more of their clothes.
blueeyetight saidEveryone needs to stop being so dang offended every time someone does not agree with you. Guess what, the world is made up of billions on totally unique people. If we all go around pointing out and boycotting and grousing about what we don't like about that person or that group... what an unhappy and pitiful existence.
If you don't like something, don't condone it or patronize what you dont like. No need to make it some sort of HUGE damn issue.
Conservatism is here to stay folks, and so is homosexuality. Are they going to clash... oh yes. Are there people that identify with both, YES... I am one of them. If you are not willing to understand the other side, compromise or offer a solution... you are just as much to fault as the other side. Agreement is never obtained without dialoge and a mutual understanding.
BOTTOM LINE... try to fix the problem (offer an alternative, talk to the people at Urban Outfitters... something) or make a mental note to yourself.. "Hey self, I am not going to shop there cause I don't like what they stand for."
