So you went to great school, got a job, and your boss treats you okay and occasionally you have a paid vacation or so. You have a BF and your life seems to be on the right track and all that. You have traveled to many places and have seen a great deal of what the world has to offer, the lavish, the luxurious, and poor, the poverty, and everything in between as well.

You have loved beautiful and wonderful men as well. You cose the one that not only you love, but loves you as well.

You are as healthy as possible and you feel this peace inside you that you are always going to be fine. That life has been, and will probably always be kind.

Then you realize that everything that "average" people might have wanted to have and achieve in several life times, you managed to have experienced it.

What's next? You dunno what you want.

What is the purpose of life? What do you think?

the purpose of life is to accomplish something that will leave your imprint.

    i.e: reproduction.

That's incorrect because not all people can reproduce. icon_wink.gif

But we can... just not through natural means.

Inseminating a carrier is good enough to let you say "I've left my genes for the world when I'm gone"...

Fuck that. I don't want some 23 year old dude looking me up in 23 years, interrupting my personal life, just to tell the world that I'm his biological dad.

Unless he's hot and into incest. icon_twisted.gif

Many gay guys dream to be monogamous yet their actions in life are contrary to what a person who wants monogamy would do.

    Same concept.

Many gay guys dream to have children yet cant through natural means.

Just because we CAN'T does not mean it is our purpose.

Some people die without fulfilling their purpose in life.

Gay guys will happen to be one form of human beings that will, unfortunately be unable to fulfill the ultimate purpose of life.

Seriously, think about it... since no one knows what happens to us when we die, the only thing you can truly invest in is whatever time you are alive for.

The purpose in life is to be happy and guilt free. In my opinion, if you have achieved that, you have accomplished everything.

Accept things you cannot change. Be content while working towards aspirations. Make the best of the situations you have no control over. Endure as long as you can and make sure at least one person has been touched by your existance.

Life is an opportunity, do what you want with it.

I believe the purpose of life is to experience it and when you get tired of experiencing it you are more accepting of your time to go.
