Woohoo! Time to show how us hick-homos get down!
But seriously, first pride I'm going to. Hoping it will be fun!
It is in Bozeman for anyone in nearby states who are interested!

Nearly every out gay and lesbian in Montana will be there. They're expecting an attendance of around 42!icon_razz.gif

The attendance is actually closer to 2,000 because we get a lot of allies to join us.

I hope the first pride parade in Montana is an outstanding success that attracts thousands of people from throughout the intermountain west. It is time for progressive minded people especially GLBT people to be successful in their taking back of rural, scenic, frontier states like Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota and tell the narrow minded, bible thumping screwballs to have their bags packed and move back to their southern bible belt poverty country where they came from. I am really surprised that this pride event isn't being held in Missoula.

Bozeman has it's own pride on top of the Montana pride. Bozeman is a little more gay friendly I think. Either way it isn't the first montana pride they have done it before.

I should tell my Aunt that lives in Livingston about this. She's not a lesbian, but she kind of seems like one.

Probably it is time for a pride celebration in Helena that would also be a march to the steps of the state capitol to demand gay friendly legislation from Montana lawmakers.

Bozeman is a great town! I'm sure there will be a good turn out since a lot of the summer visitors and seasonal employees are at nearby Yellowstone.

I thought the title of this thread was referring to a John Denver song or something.

I miss Bozeman SO much. I live there from 2007 to 2011 (went to Montana state for college).

Have fun everyone out there! It's such an amazing town.

It wasn't the first pride in MT, in fact they have been doing it for at least 6 years, although it hasn't always been in Bozeman, and now I think it is there every year. The turn out was amazing, and there were people from a few different states there. Chainers, did you end up going?

The dance on Friday was much better than the one on Saturday (better DJs) but both were fun. And the drag shows were definitely good ones to go to for a person's first and second show.

All in all, I will be going again next year, and I feel it will be a lot more fun when I am 21.
