'Brandon told some teachers and counselors at Chapin and Andress about the bullying. Administrators would pull the other students aside and reprimand them but not notify their parents, Elizares said." (From the local news)

This is the problem.. it COMES from the 'parents'.

Media might also be playing its part. Teen suicide is a trending headline now, especially if the person was gay.

I knew what is being bullied @ school, ridiculed for those who believed are more men just because they like girls. Unfortunately in many countries kids are growing with that mentality, and if parents do not teach their kids since an early age, this problem will last forever. It is not fair that some guys out there are killing themselves because of those idiots. It is hard to change this, but I also believe now with so many channels of communication and social media, we can reach those people and let them know they are not alone, and that they can find support in others that have been in the same situation.

    RIP Brandon.

We think about how sad it was, and what could have been done to prevent it.
We see bullying on here and no one tried to stop it or even give a thumbs down. We are afraid of conflict, so we keep our heads down and leave the person on their own. They feel like no one supports them, and kill themselves.

It keeps happening because everyone in the victim's life keeps their heads down and only fights when there is some thing at stake for themselves.
