A funny aside: the founder of Chick-Fillet bought the very last Ford Taurus to come off the assembly line...right before Ford revived the nameplate, of course.

And JP, I'm sure you look positively dashing in your Focus. The color really brings out the bags under your eyes.

This is scary. Ursa must have hidden cameras somewhere.

Ok, Ok - I have officially become 'one of them'.

I saw it in the showroom and I couldn't take my eyes off it... you REALLY don't want to know what hubby said when I brought it home...

"Really Iain, it just sort of followed me home..."

I just got a new 2008 Mazda 3 I love it! I drove my poor old 2000 Chevy Cavalier into the ground but hey it was paid for.

My '96 Mercury Mystique's been paid for practically since before I was born (well, maybe of driving age) and I can drive it into the ground on my commute, so that's all that matters right now. A MINI Cooper S is coming with the next pay raise, though.

I'm curious how you got an '09 when they're not being delivered to the U.S. until September. Or why an $80,000 car for that matter when you just posted on another thread that your income had fallen (gasp) below six figures due to the weak economy.

I mainly drive a 2002 GMC pickup (no pic), but since the subject is cars. This is my bitch. This was the car of my dreams when it came out back in 1990. By a stroke of luck I was able to find one used that had been turned in after a two year lease.
We have been together for almost 15 yrs. Till death do us part. LOL
