I just hope the plants don't turn out like this movie (if you haven't watched it then you won't get it)

My favorite part was when he was in the house and the guy started talking to the plant and begging for them not to hurt him. That's how bad of a movie it was icon_rolleyes.gif

"[clive becker] termed the plants' sensitivity to thoughts "primary perception," and published his findings from the experiments in the International Journal of Parapsychology. The article was met with wide criticism of his research methods."

What are they NOT widely critical of, eh? I remember when they first theorised that duck-billed dinosaurs were not water-dwelling creatures... and nobody believed it... When the theory came up that meteorites were rocks and not stars, they said that was "preposterous" because "stones simply do not fall from the sky"... and when they first opted that birds evolved from dinosaurs, people said "I will never believe that".... one can criticise absolutely everything, if you want to.... and everything SHOULD be criticised... otherwise we get ossified into certainty... and then there is never any progress

I wonder if those rocks that move by themselves, in that one desert, have feelings and emotions? Life must be such a drag!

I think they DO have feelings. In the winter months, some of my plants get seasonal depression and commit suicide. I'm tormented by this.

I hope they don't have feelings for their sake. The way humans treat the land it must be awfully traumatic when the housing developers move in on the forest.

Personally, I think plants have feelings, but not in the way that we humans have. Just like animals in nature, I think plants are instinctive (e.g. venus fly trap plant) and I think that they pass their feelings on to us when we eat them. That's why some of the most aggressive people in history were vegetarians. Just my ignorant theory, I have no data to support it, lol. But it's fun to think about.

I think I must be a plant - an indoor plant. I only feel hungry, thirsty, too hot, and worn out by pests.

A few of my plants killed themselves this week despite great weather. It's hard not to take it personally.

    srsly plants don't have feelings.
