I did that for almost 15 years during my younger days (handyman-construction worker).

But last night I did it in more of a metaphorical sense. icon_biggrin.gif

So, what do y'all wear for those storms? Do people get caught in them and have to pull out a scarf?

The dust storms were a doozy when I was in Tucson during my USAF days.

Along with flash floods in the spring that hit you with a wall of water that would accumulate up to knee-depth inside 10 minutes and getting to motorbike across the airbase/temporary lake that would drain off as fast as it appeared.

Too bad AZ doesn't look that good without Photoshop and/or Lightroom. icon_lol.gif

I stood in the middle of a dust devil a couple weeks ago just to see what it was like.

No worse than being sandblasted at the beach by an oncoming hurricane a few miles offshore. icon_lol.gif

So, what you're saying is that we really have no need here in Arizona for a "Dust Devil Committee"? icon_wink.gif

If there is one, I should be the chairman. I have to fly through them at low altitudes (like, halfway up their shafts) every day. They fucking suck. icon_lol.gif

BTW, don't be surprised if I show up at the big blowout for the "Walking Wonder" tomorrow night.

    Flexible schedules = win. icon_biggrin.gif
