No, not a broker...a broke guy...like, no expendable/recreation money after bills are paid.

PS. I was looking through old pics and found this, and was actually bored enough to start a thread about it.

I just can't see this coming to pass after having a husband who is an executive for over 20 years, and it looks as if we will be together until death do us part. But when we meet, I was a student studying youth and child services.

And now you finally worked your way up the economical ladder and became fortunate enough to afford a new van.
Congrats on your extreme success! icon_biggrin.gif

Absolutely, as long as there is a reasonable and respectable explanation. For example, is he a hunky, fuzzy public school teacher struggling to pay off his student loans and his mom's medical bills? Yes. Yes yes yes.

If we were in love, sure.

How much money people have at any given point is a static picture anyway (especially is they have potential and motivation).

No man will ever date you.

    or care about you.

Or check to see that you are still breathing when he is "finished" with you.

    Accept it.

    I have dated broke guys.

If you know what you are doing - they will not remain broke.

for me personally, wealth has absolutely nothing to do with dating. if you find someone interesting and engaging enough, then why not? Its just a date after all. If something more materialize from it, then you can start to take those things into account.

Just wait till gay marriage (and subsequently, gay divorce) is commonplace.

Stare closely and repeat after me...

    "I will love for free."

"I will date broke ass guys."

"I will stop judgeing guys by their material things."

    "I will be happy"

    Now repeat. icon_lol.gif

I believe that it is better to date someone who is in your financial situation or closer. It won't work. I am not broke but I don't have much money after paying my bills so I would prefer to date a guy who struggles like me.

    You know:

    love is not enough, unfortunately!

True but wrong. People cannot live out of love all the time. And money is an important factor when it comes to living together if that ever happens. Not that I wouldnt date one or anything but we all have to agree that economical stability is a big plus.
