Dogs are not kids. Or remotely close to kids.

Thank you for this observation! I should reword the title. Post a pic of your K9 loved one.

    Can we see yours?

Yes they are. They have emotions, they eat special foods, they pee and poop (which you must clean up afterwards), they aren't allowed on most carnival rides, they aren't allowed most places in public without a lease, they love to put their nose out the window while riding in the car, and they wake you up in the middle of the night when they need to piss.

Sounds like a normal kid to me. icon_biggrin.gif

Question: How do your dogs like riding in your boat? Thinking of getting a boat but not sure what my dogs will think about it.

They were frightened of the engine and vibration the first time. The second time, the white one was relaxed and the black one was nervous, which was surprising since when they were flown crated it was the other way 'round. Now they're both much better, either nesting or standing on their hind legs with paws planted into the upholstery to see the sights. Taken last weekend:

It'd take flying fish; otherwise I don't worry about it because even though standard poodles are bred to retrieve ducks from icy ponds they both avoid the water, which suits me fine since I'd have to spend over two hours bathing and brushing them out were they to jump in.
