Scary. Ive been appointed as a College Chaplain, as a Unitarian & Free Christian. (must be a very progressive Chaplaincy!). Im also a counsellor too.

I have a special remit for the LGBT youth and LGBT Christians on campus.

This totally feels like a step in the right direction for my life.

Im so excited and so scared. All at the same time.

PS my door even if itsvirtual is always open; Ive got broad shoulders and am a good listener.

I don't understand the need for a special remit. Please explain.

    Congratulations my good friend!

Your post reminds me of something from Prince Caspian, when Aslan refers to him as king and Caspian responds that he doesn't think he's ready. Aslan then says that perhaps not feeling ready shows that Caspian is indeed fit for the job. icon_wink.gif
(in other words, a little self doubt makes you try harder and as a result be exemplary)

Big ups to you, Ant. I've been a Metropolitan Community church deacon, and a certified mentor to LGBTQ youth through the L.A. Center; and I think there is no more worthy ministry than what you've taken on.
