I'm 21 now, and finally starting to accept the way I look. My biggest fear though is making others feel uncomfortable around me, Would a lazy eye put you off?

Don't ever worry about people feeling uncomfortable with the way you were born. If someone can't appreciate you over something as trivial as an eye, then they weren't worth getting to know in the first place. You look fine. I can't speak for anyone else but If I met you on the street and we clicked personality wise, I would go out with you. Your pic is cute.

Worst case scenario, just go to the gym and get a gym body, gays never look above the neck anyway. icon_lol.gif

Lots of people have lazy eyes. I do a little. I have trouble focusing especially when I feel slightly stressed. If I can totally relax and breathe, it is fine. There is a talk radio show on the internet called "HeidiandFrank.com". Both of them have lazy eyes and joke to each other about it. She has a lazy eye on her right side (not too bad here), and her dad has a lazy left eye.

I once went on a blind date with a guy that has a lazy eye. It took me by surprise, but I wouldn't have declined had I known about it. Nor would most guys to you, I would hope.

Be proud of you. Own who you are. Anyone hung up on that isn't someone who needs to be in your life. You look good.

I probably would, but the guy would definitely have to own it.

Also, this is my first post/time on this site. I'm amazed at how friendly everyone on this site is. I'm glad to see it.

I dated a guy with only 1 good eye. He was so self conscious about it. But I have 2 slanted eyes and seem to be doing fine.

Some guys don't want to look you in the eye afterwards. So the silver lining is that you're making it easier for them! icon_lol.gif

But more seriously, like most people you are more fixated on your perceived imperfection(s) than potential suitors. I don't think you'll have a problem. icon_biggrin.gif

Of course I would date someone with a lazy eye. I have a lazy eye, but you really can't tell unless I'm really tired. If it really bothers you, or it's affecting your vision, then there is a simple surgery that can be done. It takes an hour or so, and has very little risk at all.

If I was single, sure....as long as I knew they were looking at me the whole time and not someone else.

As long as it's not as bad as Melissa Joan Hart's. Hers has only gotten lazier with time, lol.

Its the little "defects" that make that person much more handsome/sexy. You dont even want to know how many times I've been complimented/dissed about my bunny teeth and crooked large nose. Hey, if it pleases them - stare all you want ;)

I knew a very sexy guy with a lazy eye, so I have no idea why it would be a problem.

Inorite? She's out all day doing stuff, and her eye is on the couch watching the Oprah Network and eating ice cream.

From the pic on the link you posted I can't even tell that you have a lazy eye. Regardless, the guy that ends up loving you is going to think it's cute and endearing. I have all sorts of things I pick myself apart for (my chipped front tooth, my under eye circles, problem skin) but we focus on these things much more than other people would. You're cute and I would never turn you away because of something as small as a lazy eye.

From the picture I couldn't tell, but I know how you feel. About 8 years ago I came down with Bells Palsy which paralyzed the muscles in the left side of my face. After a few months my face was pretty much back to normal but my left eye, especially when I'm tired still gets a little "lazy." If someone asks me about it I answer them. Otherwise I don't worry about it. Neither should you.

Don't worry buddy. Pretty much everything's been said now, but I just wanted to say I concur. icon_biggrin.gif
