Non-bias studies have found that 40-50% of domestic violence victims are men. Here are some videos on youtube I want to share with you guys.

I noticed the gay community is trying to spread the message that D.V. happens in gay relationships too. Thats great. But in order to do that people also have to realize it happens to men in straight relationships too. Which means that many women, just like many men, are batterers as well. And that it also affects their children.

By the way, I'm new here which is why I don't have a picture and information of me yet. But anyway, I am an advocate for these men which is why I'm spreading the message here.A man may tend to be bigger but it doesn't mean the woman can't attack him INCLUDING when he is sleeping, turns his back, or catch him by surprise etc.

It's because women are evil. Everyone knows this. It's not even news.

That's exactly why homosexuality became popular in the first place, and the reason homosexuals are smarter than straight guys. We know to stay away from those evil bitches.

From the Topic Heading: to anyone who may actually bother reading this far down. Gay men can be victims in their relationships too. Don't let your lover, boyfriend, partner, spouse or anyone ever hurt or abuse you mentally, physically, or emotionally. They don't deserve you if they hurt you. You deserve to be shown love, not force. It's not your fault.

my straight female roommate attacked me last month, leaving bruised skin and ribs. The next time she lunged at me i put my hands up to block her (this was a week ago) and grazed her throat (then i splashed milk on her). The next morning she called the police and filed a report. Women are fucking insane (and i'm insane for living with one)

This is actually a fairly well-known fact. Domestic violence is nearly 50/50 between men and women. Men tend to do more harm when they are violent, so they get treated more harshly.

I couldn't be with a guy after attempt #1 to lay a hand on me. I've got too many automatic self defense moves, and violence like that is one of the few things that will piss me off, and blind me with rage... I hate it. Never had it happen, but then again, why should it ever?

my ex wife beat me a couple of times after she found out i was gay.... i still feel that on some level she needed to... considering the situation.. I'm a big boy, i survived, fortunately...but some don't. I don't believe she is a violent woman, but when under pressure... Good luck to all, and a hug! icon_wink.gif

So then its okay for a man to beat up his wife or girlfriend if she says she has been with women? Hey if thats okay too I have no complaints. Otherwise that sounds like a double standard to me.

I have a friend who may be in abusive relationship with a girl right now and I am trying to find the right time to talk to him. It tears me up.

Go to safe4all.org. They have brochures you can give to your friend that can help him. There are also forums where he can get good advice and the strength to leave. Check it out.

I never knew that existed until I saw the 90's movie "Men Don't Tell" with Judith Light and Peter Strauss.
