    Depends on the subject.

I've said "that lightning storm is fierce" before.

Sounds queeny? Or most of the gay males you've heard say it just sound like chicks?

Damn effeminate stereotypes! The media is not helping all of us with their triflin' bullshit.

On another note....if you were being chased by a bull in an open field...wouldn't it be appropriate, after having jumped the fence to safety, to say "that bull was fierce as fuck."

I don't think I've ever heard it said in mixed company, other than 1 or 2 women ... mostly I've only heard it used on tv by obviously gay fashionistas

This. IF I am describing some type of creature, in like DnD during role playing I might say fierce, but a shirt is not fierce.

lol fierce is def not a queeny thing to say, it is very common in rural parts of ireland to say fierce - "the weather is fierce today", "my holidays, ah yeah t'was great, had a fierce time", etc. Here, it is the complete opposite of queeny.

As an adjective/adverb addressing observed behavior, it's most appropriate for drag queen performances and intense bloodletting during sport.

I only use the word fierce really when talking about hard as nails women.

You know, the kind of tough bitches who can knock grown men the fuck out. They deserve the title for sure.

I've used the word, but never in the stereotypical gay slang version. It's pretty annoying to be perfectly honest.
