*Kind of a spinoff on the donut thread*

Which do you prefer: Dunkin Donuts or Krispy Kreme? Let's finally decide which brand truly is the best haha

I'm for Dunkin Donuts ALL the way! Krispy Kreme donuts are awful!

Finally a junk food thread to which I can make a meaningful contribution.

Dunkin Donuts all the way. I like my cake heavy on the "cake" and light on the icing, and that's the way I am with my doughnuts. If I wanted to eat puffed air I'd have a souffle.

The plain cake donut at Dunkin' isn't overly sweet. The Krispy Kremes are just enough dough to keep a pound of sugar from falling apart. Ugh.

I don't really like sugar all that much.

Dunkin Donuts just because I haven't been to Krispy Kreme in years.

theere used to be a krispy kreme store right by my house, however it closed down, now it's a bank.

besides, dunkin has a lot more to offer such as breakfast sandwiches, pizzas, assorted smoothies, coffees, etc.

i could seriously live on Dunkin's glazed donuts. I ate 18 of them in one day one time. Soooooooo good. And the Boston Creme…to die for.

KK are way too sweet and mushy. They literally make me gag when I try to eat just one. Though, they do have one with a whipped-cream type of center that isn't too bad.

Dude are you crazy? Krispy Kreme all the way. Dude, no one makes a better glazed donut than Krispy Kreme. They also have the best damn cinnamon buns ever

Exactly. KK donuts are just sugar....I guess some people like that though :-/ I never have...

None for me. I've never had Dunkin' Donuts before and Krispy Kremes? Not happening. Talk about junk food supreme. They are delicious though! Doesn't mean I haven't tried them. Its why many find them hard to resist.

Krispy Kreme is Da bomb. Does not even compare to Dunkin.

Dunkin. Krispy Kreme tried to break into the market up here and failed miserably. Their donuts were way too sweet for me. I also like never having to travel to a Dunkins, they're everywhere and you're going to pass one soon no matter where you go.

We had an independent shop here that made donuts that would wipe either one of K or D off the map. They were incredibly well made and always very, very fresh. Not only better dough but much better fillings.

Then a damned McDonald's bought the property and the guy closed down. Have been in mourning since.

Exactly, where KK is ALWAYS slippery and overly sweet...it's like walking diabetes lol

I prefer Donut-Hole-In The Wall Bakeries.
