    It's the Winter solstice today!icon_razz.gif This means winter is now half over and our days will start to get longer moving into Spring; what a wonderful day. Bring on spring.

    on the other side of the Earth it´s midsummer. Which means that in Sweden everyone will dance around a four meter high phallic symbol decorated in flowers.

    Tru, Is it summer here and started off with 89 here in NJ and loving the weather still even in the 90's...Summer is coming and may not be this nice that long...

    I know about this midsummer celebration. I also heard that the ungrateful immigrants have a big problem with it.

    It has been chilly this winter, but I've been able to tough it out in shorts thus fare. But spring is on it;'s way, I can see my garden starting to get ready for it.

    The better news was that it was the summer solstice for us northern hemispheric inhabitants.

    Summer is upon us, yay!


    Technically our Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn too all start at the beginning of the month.
