How can I gain muscle?

    Yup. Lift hard, eat meats and lots of protein.

    It's hard for me. I dunno, maybe it's genetics or something but it takes FOREVER for me to gain muscle. I've been gaining some lately though but that's after months of workout and non-stop eating.

    ^ what he said. Also dedication is the key, you need to stick with it and spend some time perfecting your form, gaining strength, working out your split and what excercises garner the best results for your body type.

    Date a bodybuilder ;-) You'll gain a couple hundred lbs of muscle very quickly :-)

    If you want to build muscle, though, you need to UP the calories. Your body can't make muscle if there's a high calorie deficit. You should bulk up first, then lean out.

    also, make sure you sleep enough. your body builds muscle when your resting and recovering. Try to aim for 7-8 hours of sleep a night. If you can't do that, try squeezing in a few naps through out the day.

    Learn perfect form, so that you are lifting the weights correctly (the correct range of motion).

    Heavy weights (as heavy as you can manage, while still using good form).

    Lift the weights very very slowly, up and down.

    Work out 4 days a week, working half the muscles on Mon/Thurs, and the other half on Tues/Fri.

    Creatine. Don't throw away your money on any other supplement.

    Eat.

    I'm not at all a proponent of "bulking up."
    It's easier to gain muscle than it is to lose fat.
    But, don't try to exist on nothing but fruit and salads.

    Eat, train, and sleep. Take in lots of protein via shakes, lean meats, greek yogurt,nuts, seeds, etc. Make sure you're at a calorie surplus. And lift really hard (4-5 times a week), while staying light on cardio (1-2 times a week max).

    Crap! I've been doing it all wrong! I've been eating jalapeno flavored kettle chips. This explains so much!
