...is this really taken that seriously???

Someone has told me there a 'manager'

is there a prize or something?

I was on a UK site with a 'most looked at profiles' page which resets every sunday night. Its affectionately known as the 'mingers list' but it was sort of funny to see how high you could get on it with forum shite. We never had managers though....it was just a bit of fun icon_smile.gif

It's not taken seriously unless someone really wants the glory.

because "most looked at profiles" you just need an account with sexy body , handsome , hot ... etc and people will come to your profile a lot.

For people who isnt hot or sexy, even they're 50s-60s , but they has a great personality and everyone loves them , they will vote.

I think MOTD on RJ is very ok although it isnt serious much lol ,but it's enough for fun and for friends icon_biggrin.gif

true....it did help if you had a 6 pack, I was at the top of it by accident if I changed my DP icon_biggrin.gif

but that would only last a week.....to get up there consistently you had to generate enough interest, whether good or bad, on the forums.

This site seems very different, a lot calmer, a lot more sensible, and a lot more reserved.

there are loads of stunningly beautiful men.......and there all a million miles away :'(

It's a mixed bag... some here take it quite seriously, others do not. MOTD was originally a random selection, no votes. I much preferred it that way. It spread the love around indiscriminately, and gave members the chance to see men that may have been lost in the shuffle otherwise. I wish admin would change it back.

    Wait... there's an RJ pony??

saddle or bareback you pick OPicon_idea.gif

It was taken more serious years ago. Men were selected for their hard work in the gym, now any flabby bod can win???? It's like when obama won the Nobel Peace Prize. Historically it was given to men and woman who dedicated their life's work to this cause. Now that prize lost it's luster.icon_neutral.gif

    are you the rj pony?

I'm happy hiding in the background. If someone started voting for me my reaction would be along the lines of bemused. lol. I've only clicked on the motd section a couple times. I don't think anyone takes it seriously. Although the hot guy might draw my attention for a couple seconds on the front page.

I'm glad someone asked this question, as I was wondering myself. I've also seen some guys campaign for MOTD as if there was a cash prize or something.

Maybe we should start voting for RJ pony. icon_smile.gif

Seriously? "What's Up with MOTD" threads are almost as ubiquitous as those on race, junk food, the mideast, movies and Madonna.

Twice I think... and it's because I take long breaks and then someone gets ambitious and gets a group to vote for me. I don't naturally get it like some of our forum friends.
