    Of course now we've gotta wait for the Republicans to start screaming hysterically. They may follow the example of Congressional Republicans, who sought standing in Federal Court to defend DOMA when the Obama DoJ would not. And naturally expect Repubs to use this as an election year issue against Democrats. Look for the Catholic Church and other reactionary religious groups to also chime in against the State prosecutors.

    I love one of the comments at the end of the article, where a guy lists all the Illinois laws that prosecutors also don't blindly enforce, because they are likewise unconstitutional. Those who are screaming that this gay marriage ban MUST be enforced because it's on the books would be surprised if, for instance, they were prosecuted for not notifying the police first before entering a city in an automobile.
