    Hey guys,

Im looking for some vacation destination ideas...

Some details about me: probably traveling alone (as I am currently single), I like to relax and have fun. I love the beach and water. And i love taking cool pictures also...

Some places I have been: NYC, Washington DC, Sarasota-Florida, San Diego, Disney World, Las Vegas

Suggest some cool places and possibly some things to do there. Either your current location with the local hot spots OR vacations you have taken.

    Thank you

Anywhere in South Florida...more specifically Miami Beach if you want to take cool pictures.

But wait till I'm done with this god-forsaken expedition in Dustville AZ. I'll be back to the tropics in mid-Sept. icon_wink.gif

New Orleans, South Beach, Key West. All different and all with their own special charm.

Puerto Rico. The island of Vieques looks awesome.

I agree with what others said, south Florida is a pretty safe bet. Miami and the Florida keys look nice. The Gulf of Mexico is good as well, like Naples.

If $$ is not much issue, Hawaii.

During the summer months, Monterey, California is nice. The Pebble beach area is good. You said San Diego but I dunno if you've been to La Jolla / Pacific Beach / Coronado Island area yet, it's nice there.

I wonder...legally, are you allowed to be naked ONLY beyond those signs? icon_confused.gif

If you're coming to New Orleans for the first time and actually plan to do more than just get shitfaced in the French Quarter I would recommend NOT coming during any major event. Don't come during Southern Decadence, Mardi Gras, Essence Fest, Jazz Fest, Voodoo Fest or any Sporting event. Just come for a week or weekend when there's nothing particularly special going on. You'll get to see my city for the beauty that she is and not the beer, puke and piss-stained mess that tourist mobs leave her as every night (before our sanitation workers work their magic and scrub her streets clean with soap and water)

Hawai'i? I've been to Honolulu a few times and I absolutely love it.

Consider Provincetown. Very gay. Great beaches (nudity with caution at the farthest); at the end of a peninsula, with a national seashore at your fingertips. Bike riding, seafood, art galleries, bars, dancing, and boys. Before Labor Day if you want lots of company; after Labor Day if you prefer it quieter.

Farther away - Sitges, Spain. A gay beach resort in an old town, 1/2 hour by train from Barcelona. Summer, only.

Yes, that's Haulover Beach, just north of Miami Beach near Sunny Isles. The only legally nude beach in Florida, with lifeguards and modest facilities. But you can only be naked on the beach side of the sand dune, where he's standing, and within a 1/4-mile fenced area on the north end of the beach itself, which is otherwise clothing required, as other signs tell you. It's the protected high dune that provides the privacy from traffic on nearby Collins Ave/A1A. It's one of the few undeveloped public beaches in the Miami area, the others bordered by high-rise hotels and condos.

EDIT: corrected from original post, I mistakenly wrote "clothed" on the beach side of the dune, which should have read "naked".

Eastern Shore MD and DE has the most beautiful beaches in the east coast ;)

Bethany Beach in DE (in the same coastline as Ocean City MD) made the top 5 most cleanest beaches in America. Dewey beach after Bethany is a party beach for all twenty and thirty somethings, alot of hot guys there ;)
Then there's Rehobeth beach, waaayyyyyyyy better than Key West in my own opinion. It's very beautiful and classy with a gay friendly atmosphere. This is known as the gay beach in DE. So beach hopping starting from Ocean City all the way to Rehobeth beach is always the best idea if you ever think about coming to the MD and DE beaches. It's a 25 minute drive from the beginning to the end of the beaches. You'll also see some crazy custom built mansions in every beach.
