Howdy,

The more I read these forums and the more I am aware of my choices in life it becomes apparent that I do not know nearly enough about nutrition. What are your favorite primers on the topic?

Scanning the threads showed Burn the Fat and Feed the Muscle and Scrawny to Brawny a few times.

If it is relevant. My goals are to bulk up in the next five weeks and to start cutting. I am at 12% body fat and would like to shave 2-3% from that.

go to bn.com ( Barnes and Noble) and type nutrition under search. There are only over 3300 titles to choose from.

lol yeah, if I had time to read all of those titles and could remember what they all said in one life, that might be useful

How about some suggestions for good books on Nutrition?

Based on most of his posts in the past few weeks, I'd say that YngHung will (or already has had) some great suggestions.

Scrawny to Brawny is pretty specifically aimed at ectomorphic skinny guys trying to bulk up. I've read it and think its great. You'll learn a lot from reading it. The author, Dr. John Berardi has written a couple of more broadly focussed books on diet/nutrition which I also think are very good..The Metabolism Advantage and Precision Nutrition.
