    [color=red]Hi,
I believe that everyday there is something nice happening around us, but sometimes we are too busy or too sad to notice. Or maybe we are impatiently waiting for fireworks and don't pay attention to simple things that can make our day happier too.

Maybe if we share even these small, simple things we will help brighten a day for those of us who feel down and sad.

    Okay, I'll start
A certain sensitive young man made my day today by his sweet caring message. /color]

Waking up to beautiful sunshine and taking my dog for a walk before breakfast this morning made me very happy.

Waking up at a ridiculously early hour before anyone else and thinking how much I would enjoy my coffee and lurking through RJ in peace and quiet.

Being picked to do something that I've never done before over other people. I just got to work my ass off this week to make sure I don't screw up.

I wrecked my bike hardcore today. I hit a hole in a field and went flying over my handlebars. I rolled twice and landed on my right leg. I was in bad pain when some golfers across the field yelled "HEY! Are you okay?"

I shook it off but my bike was broken icon_sad.gif! I thought it was very nice of them to ask though.

The smiling and courteous employees at my local Costco.

Sure, retail can be really bad but the customers don't get to the people at the South Orlando Costco at all.

Getting a nice compliment from a cute straight guy on my cycling team. He said his new nickname for me is Spartacus because he thinks I have the legs of a Roman gladiator. icon_smile.gif

Blowing a load in the shower.

Oh wait...we're not being crude. Actually, it was the gyro with extra lamb and no vegetables I ate for lunch. I've dubbed it the Ron Swanson. It was everything I thought it could be and more.

This little boy at the movies. Let me splain:

I was at the movies with a friend and we were looking for some seats (wasnt too crowded but it was getting there). So I see this little boy sitting down and was pretty sure he was saving some seats but I wasnt sure how many so I asked him. (NOTE: this kid had to be 5-7 years old)

Me: Are some of these seats saved?

    Him: Yes, sir.

Me: How many seats are you saving?

Him: (looks and counts) I think four of them sir.

Me Ok, so those two over there are ok to sit in?

    Him: I think so sir.

    Me: Thanks buddy.

Him: Sorry sir (He apologized because his foot grazed my leg when I was walking by him to get to the seat)

GAH!!!! I want to keep him! So respectful. Totally made my day.

Flew back to Germany overnight and was expecting to take a cab home, but my hubby met me at the airport. There were roses waiting for me at home and a clean apartment. I was very happy... especially after a shower and a nap.

A morning umm, greeting - from my handsome hunky s.o.

Also, my dog coming in to say good morning - all thrilled to see me, as if I'd been away for a month or more.
