So some people might know about my current roommate problem (disrespectful, homophobic, messy guy in his 40's) Compete my fault for not meeting them before moving in since they were out of the apartment the day I viewed it- first time living on my own lesson. Always meet your roommate in person before putting a deposit down.

Cant even bring the BF over since he threw a fit that I had a guy over; since then it's been causing been becoming a problem with our romantic life. Plus, being in the middle of Queens isn't the best area for a gay twenty-something guy.

I'm not trusting CL anymore and I know this is a long shot but are any other RJers in NYC looking for a roommate? I'm looking to move early July and have budgeted around $800.

You can learn about me from my profile or feel free to PM me.

I could... but the BF and I don't feel comfortable in the apartment with him now; he really ruined the mood when we heard his passive aggressive storming around the apartment- slamming doors and all trying to get us to leave. Told me the landlord says no overnight guests the next morning- WTF? icon_mad.gif

Can't get through to him that he might want to leave or spend a couple hours elsewhere when my BF spends the night. It's "his place too." icon_rolleyes.gif

Of course I could always request that he find somewhere else to live but I've been wanting to move closer to work anyway. It's easier for me to move out and I think its about time I move to a more happening, gay friendly area anyway
