How many reps sets

    seeing as im new to the weight training i have a question i keep seeing conflicting answers to online so i thought i'd ask you guys

    how many reps per set and how many sets should i be doing to see muscle growth and definition?

    That answer is different for everyone. Though the general rules of thumb are:

    lift fewer reps and heavier weights to build mass

    lift more reps and lighter weights to define.

    lift until you fatigue or reach muscle failure

    Have a spotter.
