I met a guy in a party 2 days back. he was a bisexual. after the party we got into my car. he started smooching me and it finally ended with me receiving a blowjob from him. it was my first time ever being smooched by a guy, let alone getting a blowjob.

Since yesterday night, I have been dealing with pain around my neck, a bit of uneasiness, pain around my shoulders and especially on the portion above my wrist :-(

    Symptoms look deeply scary.
Have i really contracted HIV or any kinda STI ??????????????? :-(

I have heard that Oral sex is a serious carrier of HIV. Those symptoms look deeply scary too :-(

That's funny cause I heard the complete opposite..

You can't receive HIV through saliva.. and you were the one getting the blowjob.. so I fail to see how you came to the conclusion that you're infected..with HIV none the less. Is there any reason you suspect the guy to have HIV?

I think you are just freaking out.

Will SOMEBODY that knows something about HIV please answer this guy's question!?

Not a doctor, though I play on one TV. These don't sound like symptoms of any STD I have heard of - especially after only 2 days.

Guess it could be some new virus affecting the nervous system. If paralysis sets in , you should definitely be worried.

Rather than ask on RJ what's wrong with you, try seeing a physician.

Sounds more like overtraining your arms in the gym.

Unless his mouth was gushing blood, and some managed to get inside your dick...you don't have HIV. What you're actually dealing with is hypochondria and/or repressed guilt about your sexuality.

There's never actually been a reported case of transmission solely from oral sex, so unless you think you're going to be the first guy in history...you don't have HIV.

Doesn't it also take a few weeks for symptoms to show up regardless?

Try years for actual symptoms of the virus. Not everyone gets initial symptoms of acute HIV and even if you did, it would be hard to distinguish from any other bug or virus.

    +1

hahahahaha... you didnt get HIV! Get tested if it will give you peace of mind. But if HIV could be caught that easily, there would be no gays around today! Everybody kisses.

Wow, back before HIV was recognized, we were kissing...and we didnt catch HIV. HIV is really quite hard to catch. The virus is very fragile. You pretty much have to inject it straight into your body....via a needle or taking it up the ass bareback. Oral is quite safe.

So, take a deep breath....and get back to smooching.

It's just what mindgarden said. You have some muscle strain and discomfort from being unusually stretched in a car.

I think that would be "maker-outers." I know it doesn't make grammatical sense, but it does make it easier to say.

    To reassure you:

There are NO proven cases of anyone getting HIV through receiving oral sex. That's a documented fact.

You had NO risk whatsoever . You could get HIV through giving a blow job but the chances are so low you would have to have someone with a very high viral load and you have a gaping open and fresh cut in your mouth . HIV isn't actually that easy to get .

The virus dies in seconds once it's exposed to air so it's actually a very weak one initially.

Main ways of getting HIV :

    Unprotected anal or vaginal sex

    Intravenous drug use

    Mother to child .

Condoms don't just get small holes either- they break and you would know it.

You may have opened yourself up to gonnohoea etc but thats highly treatable .

    Just relax -

I will say tho, that im shocked at the lack of knowledge on here about HIV or what is and isn't a risk . If you're going to have sex, you should absolutely know what is and isn't a risk .

I feel like this kid is underage for some reason.

Im sorry, but please get educated about HIV you can only get it by getting jizz in your body same with blood.

This is such a pointless post....get educated and research about STDs before you make such a ludicrous statement.
