The only place to get Aussiebum products is on the website. They do this intentionally and there is no retail outlet for their products. I have spent a lot of time looking. That said, I have found their prices pretty reasonable and they have good customer service. I also love their underwear. Good looking and VERY comfortable.
I am an aussiebum fanatic...in fact, ive thrown out all of my other underwear for aussies. I am not kidding.
Broken record, but you can not get them cheaper than on the website. Main reason being is simple economics. Stores have overhead and need to make a profit so they will charge more for underwear (20-22 dollars a PIECE vs 11-15 on the site - depending on what you get and sometimes itll be more)...but since aussie isnt "bricks and mortar" they can charge less than you would see at a store.
bigman, I would think almost anywhere in chelsea/hk that is more "boutique" mens clothing in nature will have aussie in stock. but you are right itll be more expensive.
Check out the games on the Aussiebum website. If you get to a certain level they give you a coupon for money off at the store. It helps a little bit (usually takes care of the shipping). That'll bring the price down a bit.
i ordered two pair of square cut swim trunks for my cruise. the price was 39.98 or so if i remember. when they arrived they were half of that price each. could it be the price on the website was listed in Australian dollars?? either way they fit well and i thought even at the other price that they were a good deal!!
I can assure you that Aussiebum does not make false customs declarations and that yes they do charge in Australian dollars (at least, they did for me paying with a New Zealand dollar credit card).
I thought I was clever ordering the "Patriot" package-enhancing pair, but I have since realised that they have a very distinctive band at the top and are recognisable from a mile off! LOL. I still wear them though, as they are very comfortable and do indeed make the front of my pants look nice ;-)
Contrary to populat belief, Aussiebum aren't stocked in stock standard department stores or David Jones or Myer. Unless your luck enough to find them on sale on Oxford St (you'd have more luck buying a scratchy ticket), or passing through Bali, the website is the only way to go.
For that reason, the true aussiebum (highest market share) remains to be bonds!
