What was it, and did it work like you hoped it would?

I bought the Time Life 70s CD collection. I liked every single song. Turned out to be about a dollar a song. This was several years ago.

    You?

One of my housemates has bought Magic Pushup (the rotating disc things), Rebounder (round mini-trampoline), ShakeWeight, chin/neck exerciser spring thing, etc. He is just gullible. He is really into conspiracy theory with TriLateral Commission, Bilderbergers, etc. also natural cures, chiropractice, Kevin Trudeau, etc. but other than that a pretty smart guy.

No, but I did like some of those 80s songs, so I went to iTunes and purchased the individual ones that I liked.

You can get Magic Bullets at Wal-mart these days. They're ok, if you don't have a regular ipod dock. I'm fine with ear buds though...

I almost bought a Bose theater sound system I saw advertised late one night. Way too expensive though. If I want cool stuff that I don't really need I usually go to Amazon...

I bought that hair trimmer thing. It did not live up to its hype. Very sad to say that. I expected wonders.

Hym...I think you're thinking of something else perhaps?

I believe this was the Magic Bullet that was being talked about:

If it doesn't blend liquids I suppose you can use it for a vibrating dildo....

    Do the shopping channels count?

I'll admit that I have bought many items from QVC. The food choices are actually pretty damn good. Junior's cheesecake, Corky's ribs, Kansas City Steaks, the list goes on..........

Bed Bath Beyond carries the good stuff so I don't have to impress the UPS guys.

The microwave pasta maker (oval plastic bin that does a great job on pasta in 14 minutes.

Proactiv was a godsend. Tried everything from topicals to meds for my acne back in high school. This was when Judith Light was doing the infomercials. Been using it ever since.

I have a Popiel pasta maker, but I got it in a store. Same thing he advertised in infomercials, though. I make whole wheat pasta in it when i'm carbing up for big rides.

Yonanas! I saw a TV ad for this and ended up buying it online from another site where I had a credit. Turns frozen bananas into soft serve. I like it a lot, although I served it to a friend and he didn't like it...lol.

I have... and "made a million dollars from my one bedroom apartment by placing tiny classified ads in newspapers all over the country."

Well, didn't quite work out that way. The internet took over.

I don't have a domestic bone in my body, but -- or so -- I use my Pasta Boat several times a week. You don't have to be right there to watch water boil. You just use your Microwave. I make rice with it too. It's really a great product for a single guy.
