Another heartwarming story from the "family values" party:

A New Hampshire Tea Party head has said that he hopes the majority justices in the Supreme Court’s ruling on the Affordable Care Act “get colon cancer,” according to the Merrimack Patch. Mike Malzone, founder of the Merrimack, New Hampshire Tea Party joined the ranks of conservatives who are heaping opprobrium upon the heads of the Supreme Court, who upheld the bulk of the Affordable Care Act, President Barack Obama’s signature piece of domestic legislation as constitutional on Thursday.

Conservatives have exhibited a veritable rainbow of bad reactions to Thursday’s announcement. Former Fox News personality Glenn Beck has taken to selling Chief Justice John Roberts T-shirts that say “Coward” on his website ($30 plus shipping and handling). Matt Drudge and others have been blaming the ruling on Roberts’s epilepsy medication, although presumably his ruling on Citizens United was not affected by the same factors.

Merrimack, New Hampshire libertarian and Tea Party president Mike Malzone has gone further than others in his outrage, declaring in a Facebook post on the Merrimack Tea Party page, “I hope the (5 supremes) get colon cancer.”

    http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2012/06/30/nh-tea-party-leader-wishes-colon-cancer-on-supreme-court-justices/

The Supreme Court decided that everyone who is able must contribute to their health insurance costs. Does this seem like an appropriate reaction?

You're doing a good job of polluting the site. Just with a quick google I can find numerous liberals who wished George Bush had been assassinated, plus the movie Death of a President that was a fictional story of same while he was in office. If you can't be more creative and have to stoop so low, you are pretty desperate.

Death of a President was not an American movie.

And George Bush started two unnecessary wars that have nearly bankrupted our country and costs hundreds of thousands of lives.

    Roberts found a law constitutional.

    It's a completely false equivalency.

And if anyone's "polluting the site", it's you with your smarmy, pseudo-intellectual bullshit. icon_rolleyes.gif

How exactly is this polluting a site? How is it stooping so low when all he is doing is posting what's going on in the news.

Doesn't matter where the movie as made. Many people on the radical left expressed a wish that it were a true documentary instead of fiction.

You imply because of your opinion of Bush's policies, that he is more deserving of being assassinated than Roberts. Pretty much in the gutter.

It's new territory that I've never seen socalfitness enter before.

I thought it's mutually understood that there are crazies coming from people of all political stripes. On RealJock when one side posts an unflattering story, the other side may do the same to rebuff. But everyone can agree that no political identity has persons who are all "perfect."

But no has called it "stooping low" before to post such content. It's news, and that's what this sub-forum is for—news and politics, and this thread fits.

This is no different than most of what he, southbeach, riddler, or any of us post. What does someone have to be more "creative" about when they simply want to post news. So some conservatives don't come out looking too well—big whoop! It's nothing to attempt to silence your fellow forum members about.

Socalfitness and his Nanny State of RealJock is becoming tiresome.

wishing ill on someone is not classy.

It was wrong when they did it to Bush, McCain , Sarah Palin and of course the Supreme Court.

The bankrupt moral argument that somehow "Bush started two wars therefore it is less wrong" is a moral equivalency frequently entered into by the left.

This Tea Party leader can say what he wants but I believe Roberts handed the administration the law it was asking for in its legal arguments.

The law now is radically changed from what the Administration had hoped for it.

We will not be hearing "Commerce Clause" from Nancy Pelosi again.

As far as the Movie A Death of a President goes?
The movie was a hypothetical on what the near future would have been IF he was assassinated
No one was wishing that he was assassinated

Take a step back and look at yourself willya?
You're Defending a lunatic who wishes Cancer on someone else

When I was a teen my Jesuit prep school teachers would criticize us boys for having "groin-centered minds" due to our presumed emerging interest in sex. Even back then I wondered if they were either projecting their own frustrated sexual desires & guilt onto us, or were jealous of our sexual freedoms, or both.

It appears an awful lot of these right-wingers and fundamentalist Christians have "anal-centered minds". It's all they seem to fixate on. And BTW, doesn't that Teabagger have the scary look of an absolute fanatic? How do you reason with THAT?

But it's these fringe losers who are backing candidates and electing them in the primaries, some of them winning general elections.

There's a great deal to be concerned about.

I've seen socal freak out like this in the past when an attack on the teabag Repubs has been posted.

The nastiest most unhinged response he ever posted to one of my comments was to a comment critical of the teabag extremism.

President Obama's big Obamacare victory has likely also gotten under his thin skin.

When did a Democratic state party leader ever wish death on Bush?

I don't know of any such state Democratic Party leader. I don't know of any New Hampshire State Republican Party leader who wished ill of Roberts either. The party leaders consist of 10 County Chairs, 34 Executive Committee Members, and 68 Town/City Chairs. I didn't see Malzone among any of them. Look for yourself: http://www.nhgop.org/

Loose with the facts, continuing your streak.

You clearly insinuated that Malvone was a party leader by your challenge for me to find a Democratic party leader who did something similar. Want to hide from that and slink away, fine.
