trampolini said*Finishes watching Night 2*
That was terrifying.
What was? Any particular moment or the whole thing?
I was a hot mess after Day 2. Such an emotional roller coaster!
Haha, you got caught up in the hype like everyone else then?
The announcements at the end of Day 2 were terrifying. Sooo much pomp. It reminded me of that god-awful scene in the Hunger Games when all the tributes were being introduced for the first time.
I was expecting Aly Raisman to break out into a Queen of England wave as she walked onto the floor... as if she didn't already know that she was going to be on the team.
P.S. I love the girl, but Gabby REALLY needs to work on her interview vocabulary.
LOL! Gabby's interviewing skills have improved really. You should watch stuff from a year ago. I mean, she is not as well spoken as Bridget Sloan or Alicia Sacramone, but what can you really expect from teenagers, eh?
I was rather touched to see Aly Raisman in absolute tears when they announced the team. I feel like she just goes through the motions of every competition. Granted, she was one of the locks for the team, but the thrill of officially making it was still quite a moment for her. She was such a hot mess coming out of the locker room to the podium, haha.
I was mainly gutted for Rebecca Bross. 2 years ago, I felt confident she would be on this team. Just goes to show what all can happen in 2 years. It broke my heart to watch her fall apart on bars. However, I am VERY disappointed that NBC didn't show her beam routine after because it was a good routine. I mean, before Wieber and Douglas, Bross was the next "it" girl heading to these Olympics. It's been tough to see her have a similar fate as Vanessa Atler.
