I'm an ex-fatass. It's annoying to see skinny guys bitch about how they can't get bigger.

In the process of losing 70 lbs, I learned a lot about fitness. The one thing I learned the most is how stupid it is for skinny people to bitch about their size.

If you're skinny and hate it, try being fat. At least skinny people get looked at by strangers. Fat people get overlooked by everyone.

I'm a current skinny-guy. It's annoying to see fat guys bitch about how hard it is to get skinny.

In the process of aging 20 years, I learned a lot about fatness. The one thing I learned most is how stupid it is for fat people to bitch about their size.

If you're fat and hate it, try being slim. At least fat people don't get looked at by strangers. Skinny people have to uphold a minimum standard of beauty.

Potato/potato. The goal of people like me who are slim or svelte is not to gain weight, but to have enough mass do things like look proportionate with huge muscles, or fill out the back of your jeans without wearing skinnies, and oh, I don't know, match the public's idea of what is "masculine". You have absolutely no idea how irritating it is when you message someone casually and get "no fems" as a response because somehow a swimmers build means I'm a flaming queen. Of COURSE I want to be a mesomorph. Unfortunately genetics and metabolism make that impossible, so bitch about it is all that can be done. Deal with it.

[edit] Let's also cover fat people and elderly people and mesomorphs constantly telling those of slimmer build to eat more. I eat like a jumbo dumb truck and may never see 180

I'm a current fatass who is just beginning his journey to a healthy life. As I've aged (gracefully, I hope), I've learned we all tend to think the grass is greener on the other side. I wish I were thinner, I wish I were bigger, I wish I had better skin, I wish I wish I wish. Grandpa used to say, "you can wish in one hand and crap in the other, and see which gets filled first!"

Another life lesson I've learned in my time spent breathing is that always and never are seldom accurate. I'm certain there are SOME thin people who are just fine with who they are, and I know for a fact that some fat people are just fine with that (although I don't know why). I have been fat for a long time, but other than being lazy, I've not been happy about it. One can obsess about anything. I see guys on here with absolutely wonderful looking bodies saying things like "I'm almost there." Almost my fat furry ass you're almost there! You're there, buying the t-shirt, and on your way to nirvana from my perspective.

So, take care of yourself, there are people who love you. Don't hate, because it WILL come back to bite you in the ass. Be kind and supportive of what other people want for themselves (so long as it isn't hurtful). Don't judge, because you're not perfect either.

I hereby relinquish the soap box.

Eww you're hating on skinny people... I sometimes get asked if I have anorexia... I obviously don't because I do eat healthy but I cannot gain weight, I can't intimidate anyone with my weight and am always intimidated by others... Being skinny is hell, atleast it's easy to lose weight, you know what to do. Step on a treadmill and get the calories burning... I HAVE NO CLUE ON HOW TO GAIN WEIGHT, "eat more" is not just the answer. =/. Also it makes you have low self esteem, but I think fat people have that too.

    I can relate.
It took me THIRTY YEARS!!! And I'm just NOW Barely gaining mass.
Everyone has weight issues; no one is better or worse than the other.
If a person needs to lose/ gain weight, that's THEIR issue to deal, and it's unfair to dump their issue on others.

Not true, you can't look over (or around) a fat person since they obstruct your line of sight.

Light rays can actually bend around a truly massive body, Einstein proved that.

I have learned that people of all shapes and sizes can hate their body. It's something we all have in common (skinny, fat, muscular, whatever...)

I grew up fat and was 420lbs at my heaviest and I hated my body. My nephews are both rail thin and hate their body. I had friends who were gym queens and still hated their body. I've come to learn that it's not so much about our body as it is about self image in general. I'm much thinner now than I have ever been in my life and I am still not happy physically, maybe because of my frame of mind I will never be. I've learned that there are much more important things in life to worry about.
