paulflexes saidI'm an ex-fatass. It's annoying to see skinny guys bitch about how they can't get bigger.
In the process of losing 70 lbs, I learned a lot about fitness. The one thing I learned the most is how stupid it is for skinny people to bitch about their size.
If you're skinny and hate it, try being fat. At least skinny people get looked at by strangers. Fat people get overlooked by everyone.
I'm a current fatass who is just beginning his journey to a healthy life. As I've aged (gracefully, I hope), I've learned we all tend to think the grass is greener on the other side. I wish I were thinner, I wish I were bigger, I wish I had better skin, I wish I wish I wish. Grandpa used to say, "
you can wish in one hand and crap in the other, and see which gets filled first!"
Another life lesson I've learned in my time spent breathing is that
always and
never are seldom accurate. I'm certain there are SOME thin people who are just fine with who they are, and I know for a fact that some fat people are just fine with that (although I don't know why). I have been fat for a long time, but other than being lazy, I've not been happy about it. One can obsess about anything. I see guys on here with absolutely wonderful looking bodies saying things like "I'm almost there." Almost my fat furry ass you're almost there! You're there, buying the t-shirt, and on your way to nirvana from my perspective.
So, take care of yourself, there are people who love you. Don't hate, because it
WILL come back to bite you in the ass. Be kind and supportive of what other people want for themselves (so long as it isn't hurtful). Don't judge, because you're not perfect either.
I hereby relinquish the soap box.
